Students are to bring two pieces of fruit or vegetable (may or may not be cut up) or cheese to snack on in class during fruit breaks at school which occur at 10am and 12.30pm. This practice promotes healthy eating behaviours and assists with maintaining attention of our students.
Students are encouraged to drink water at school, particularly during hot weather. Drink containers must also be clearly marked. No drinks are to be in glass bottles. We ask that all children have a clear, plastic water bottle on their table in their classroom so they can sip whilst working. The water bottle is taken home daily and refilled with water.
